National Day Without Gambling 2026

A space dedicated to information, awareness-raising, and the prevention of gambling disorder.

On October 29, the Spanish Federation of Rehabilitated Gamblers (FEJAR) and the affiliated organizations that make up its network across the country will observe National Day Without Gambling—an initiative dedicated to providing information, raising awareness, and preventing gambling disorder.

This initiative is supported and funded by the Ministry of Social Rights, Consumer Affairs and the 2030 Agenda.

Under the slogan “Regain control. Your life is worth more than the game,” FEJAR aims to remind us that gambling disorder can affect anyone and have serious consequences for one’s health, finances, professional life, education, and family. Furthermore, the growth of online gambling has facilitated more immediate and constant access, making prevention and early detection even more essential.

Through the various activities organized by the affiliated federations and associations, reflection will be encouraged regarding the risks of gambling, the importance of education and support, and the need to seek help at the first signs of a loss of control.

FEJAR would like to remind you that gambling disorder can be treated and that recovery is possible; those affected—along with their families—have access to specialized support resources. For further information or assistance, you can call the free, confidential helpline at 900 200 225.
